Delapsus

What pain you felt when I left me
it wasn’t me though, and it wasn’t because of you.
It was silent

I didn’t even know,
but I couldn’t tell you
because I didn’t know.

My hand clutched my wrist when I tried to speak.
Cutting vertically with no voice.
Collapsing through the front
Crashing in a downward spiral…..crushing slowly.

Softly as my eyes close…..as I float
The next morning I start over.
